The first consultation is free. We will sit down together, talk about the various issues that you are facing, and map out potential strategies for addressing them.
If you feel that we are a good fit, we will estimate the amount of time it will take (and thus the total billable hours) and how much costs will run. We will both fill out a fee agreement that details and explains what we can expect from each other.
Before we begin work for you, we will need an initial deposit that would cover most, if not all, the expected price of our service. To keep the overhead and our price low, we must have the money up front. We put that money into a client trust account. As we perform legal services for you, and incur costs on your behalf (such as filing fees and retention of expert witnesses), we bill your trust account. The money left over at the end of our service will be returned.
Though you will have a preliminary schedule of how things will unfold, you can also expect regular contact from us as we proceed. We will promptly inform you of all emergent issues, and keep you up to date as we go along.
